Christie Innomed job opportunity : Human Resources Coordinator


Due to its organizational growth, Christie Innomed must manage an increasing number of major projects in the medical informatics sector and health-related IT solutions. It is currently enhancing the Synapse PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and coordinating structuring projects, including the new RIS (Radiology Information System) and its complementary modules, while facilitating the integration of its solutions with the health network's information systems.


Role Description


> Summary

In order to capitalize on all of its projects, the organization is currently seeking an IT Specialist who can deliver IT infrastructure and application monitoring projects, along with infrastructure and automation initiatives. The successful candidate must grant as much importance to the IT infrastructure as to its impact on the client's business, while assuming an active role in problem solving.

Working under the Director of the Medical Informatics and Healthcare IT Solutions Service, the incumbent will execute IT upgrading projects and integrate new technologies into our healthcare clients' technological environments. The incumbent's main objective will be to ensure that the production of any technological solution meets the business needs of our clients in accordance with all deadlines and specifications.


> Key Accountabilities

• Implementing IT infrastructure projects within small and large-scale environments;
• Diagnosing problems relating to the server, AD architecture and network;
• Supporting and assisting the sales team in the development of technological solutions;
• Listening to the client's business needs and guiding their technological decisions when needed;
• Supporting the service centre team when expertise is required to diagnose and solve Level 3 infrastructure problems;
• Keeping technical computer knowledge up to date;
• Being on the lookout for new technological trends;
• Providing ideas for improvement and innovation;
• Having a sense of responsibility;
• Able to cope with stressful situations;
• Available to work outside normal business hours;
• Occasional travel to the clients' offices across Canada.



> Qualifications & experience

• College diploma (bachelor's degree an asset) in computer science or computer engineering;
• Minimum five (5) years of IT experience in server management and Windows environments;
• Experience in medical informatics an asset;
• Demonstrated experience in writing technical and technological documents;
• Technical knowledge:
          o Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere virtual server environments;
          o Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments;
          o Oracle database, SQL;
          o Virtual workstation solutions, including Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS);
          o Backup and Netapp network storage solutions, along with Cisco and Fortinet security solutions;
          o SAN, RAID, CLUSTER, HOST ESXi configuration;
          o Enterprise solutions from HP and Lenovo manufacturers;
          o Wireless connectivity solutions (e.g. FortiAP and Cisco);
• Excellent command of French and English, verbal and written.
