Role description

Summary

Project manage diagnostic imaging installations and equipment relocations
– Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.
– Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget.
– Develop project charters and timelines, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring resource feasibility.
– Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
– Ensure resource availability and allocation with supplied software and communication.
– Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
– Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

Key responsibilities

Managing and maintaining project communication, documentation, and planning. Promptly responding to stakeholders and management to update project’s status. Creating and updating project plans with supplied software. (Time allocated: 65%)

-Attending site visits and project meetings at facilities. Reviewing and modifying project plans with OEM, internal service teams, engineers, contractors, and customers. Assisting sales team with RFP site visits, planning, and documentation. (Time allocated: 20%)

-Following proper escalation procedures when an incident occurs or a project/risk cannot be resolved in a timely manner. Familiarization with ISO documentation and proper procedures for any circumstance which may arise. (Time allocated: 5%)

-Properly balancing work and keeping proper records of that work through the use of supplied software. Keeping up to date with the weekly time and expense reports. (Time allocated: 5%)

-Properly looking after all Christie Innomed Inc. property which has been assigned to them (laptop, phone, company car, etc…). (Time allocated: 5%)

Key competencies

Communications

-Report and escalate information to management as necessary.

-Manage relationships with customers and all stakeholders.

-Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers.

-Create and maintain a regular communication calendar for the project and its stakeholders.

Documentation

-Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

-Follow procedures and ensure documentation is archived.

-Perform regular analysis of past projects to ensure procedures, performance, and documentation are optimized.

Requirements

-Educational background, preferably in the fields of medical equipment, computer science or engineering.

-Proven working experience as a project manager medical equipment technology sector.

-Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in medical software and diagnostic imaging systems.

-Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

-Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

-Strong working knowledge of project management software, MS Project, AutoCAD etc.

-PMP / PMI / PRINCE II certification or equivalent experience and training.

Travel

-Attend on-site visits for project planning and periodic review.

-Attend on-site customer and internal meetings with stakeholders to review project plans and progress.

-Attend sales meetings internally and onsite to prepare documentation for new clients.

-Review and coordinate project plans with customers, architects, and engineers.
