Summary

To enable Christie to continue its growth plan, Christie Innomed is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to increase the growth of its’ Project Delivery capacity. The PM’s role is to contribute to the Project Management of the Business unit. The incumbent is primarily the Team Leader of the Project Office and is required to orchestrate the implementation of project interventions while giving maximum visibility to the progress of the work to management in a synthetic and organized manner. The incumbent becomes a member of the Project Office and would actively participates in the development and maintenance of projects, in order to contribute to the achievement of the organization’s objectives of operational excellence.

Key accountabilities

• Respect the strategic directions of the organization and projects while encouraging the involvement of different Stakeholders;
• Establish an organizational delivery approach based on the Project Management cycle, which includes the planning, launch, resource allocation, execution, monitoring and control phase of projects until final delivery (Timeline, Budget, Quality, Scope);
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Legal constraints during the delivery of each project;
• Promote the development of the Organization’s Project Management methodology (process), define its standards and tools (project charter, timelines, resource management plan, risk management plan, etc.);
• Good management of Project resources (human, material, financial and information);
• Track and control risks that can disrupt the smooth running of projects and synthesize the progress of each project (accountability);
• Collaborate with other Project Managers to disseminate key indicators (advanced, risk, budget consumed etc;
• Ensure that the performance indices are in line with the strategic orientations of the organization.
• Maintain documentation of monitoring and control of Project interventions.

Desired profile

Qualifications and experience

• Have an undergraduate degree in Administration, Project Management, Computer Science or Engineering;
• Have at least ten years of professional experience as a Project Manager;
• Have participated in the establishment of a project office in at least one (1) organization working in the Health sector;
• Master the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint);
• Have an advanced level of Project Management tools (MS-Project, Excel and Visio);
• Expose his experience through his professional career on a set of large-scale projects (at least five projects over 1,000 j/p and whose costs were each more than $500,000.
• Have the flexibility to travel across the country without significant notice.
• Adhere to the values of the organization (Respect, Excellence, Professionalism, Appreciation, Solution Oriented);
• Have excellent oral and written communication (bilingual required) skills.
