Accounting technician

> Summary

Reporting to the Accounts Payable/Receivable Team Lead and based at our headquarters in St-Eustache (Qc), we are looking for an experienced accounting technician to take charge of daily AR & AP functions for our US operations

More specifically, tasks would relate to invoicing , processing payables, and aiding with month end reporting

This role would have flexibility for teleworking 2 days a week.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles,
• Able to communicate effectively, having excellent command of French and English, both oral and written (suppliers and customers),
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills,
• Dynamic and flexible team player with the ability to function independently while working in a team environment,
• Reliable, autonomous, strong work ethic and professional attitude
• The following experiences are an asset:
  • DEC or DEP in accounting,
  • Microsoft Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP),
  • S. sales tax reporting,
  • Parts, service contracts and service calls invoicing, and/or Healthcare service industry work history.

The ideal candidate will be able to take charge of all invoicing duties and related functions as well as demonstrate initiative to improve the processes in place.
