MONTREAL – Christie Innomed was exclusively awarded the call for tenders issued by the Quebec buying group GACEQ (Groupe d’approvisionnement en commun de l’Est du Québec) for the implementation of mobile X-ray systems across the entire Quebec province.

Christie Innomed is proud to announce its part in this major province-wide initiative to meet the care delivery needs of imaging centres and their patients.  As the largest independent healthcare technology provider in Canada, Christie Innomed aims to deliver highly versatile systems and an overall value offering that can broadly assist centres in addressing the access and long-term sustainability of essential radiology services. Having equipped over 100 mobile X-ray systems in the eastern provinces and over 230 across Canada, Christie Innomed continues to be a leader in the delivery and support of diagnostic imaging technology.

The selected MobileDaRt Evolution MX7 X-ray system from Shimadzu, combined with the Fujifilm Flat Panel Detector Technology D-EVO II, offers exceptional care at the patient’s bedside, in ER, OR, ICU, NICU or wherever general X-ray is needed. With patient safety and comfort in mind,  images are obtained only two seconds after exposure. The outstanding drivability and maneuverability, provide the user with greater access to state of the art digital imaging, enhancing quality and efficiency of care across hospital departments.

Engineered with user safety, ergonomics and durability in mind, these X-ray systems combine advanced technology and flexibility which include virtual grid and mobility access. Fujifilm’s endless pursuit of image quality is personified by its latest Fujifilm D-EVO II detector. Its technology has evolved to be the lightest and first detector with antibacterial coating, and built-in memory. D-EVO II detector technology provides mobility solutions without requiring any interface with other vendors’ X-ray equipment. This ensures Total Vendor Neutral Solution across the Diagnostic Imaging department, enhancing capital equipment ROI (return on investment) as well as operations. Virtual Grid is also a key differentiator, producing images with contrast and clarity comparable to exams performed with a physical grid while requiring as little as half the dose.

”This achievement demonstrates that regardless of the numerous and complex technologies within medical imaging, the success of our company relies on the quality of our personnel and the importance we place on collaborating with our clients to address their care delivery goals and challenges. Day after day, our team strives to exceed the expectations of health care providers.” stated: Martin Roy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Christie Innomed.

Christie Innomed is strongly focused on bringing innovative systems that will solve the imaging needs of the modern X-ray department.  With headquarters in Montreal and 8 offices across Canada, our team of product specialists and technicians are dedicated to offering exceptional and personalized solutions and service to each of our clients.
