Toronto, April 29, 2024 – Christie Innomed, Canada’s leader in health technologies and multivendor services, has signed a multi-year agreement with the Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan (CMEPP) to become a Vendor of Record.
“Christie Innomed is well-positioned to provide unique and cost-effective diagnostic imaging service solutions to the Canadian healthcare community. As one of the largest service organizations in Canada, we have the necessary scale, resources, and infrastructure to support our customers with highly trained service technicians, an extensive global supplier network and technical partners,” says Martin Roy, President & CEO, Christie Innomed.
In 2023, CMEPP renewed its Vendor of Record (VOR) Program to ensure continued compliance with national procurement legislation, including the Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive. To qualify as a VOR, Suppliers must meet a set of mandatory requirements as well as qualify based on balanced evaluation criteria. Those Suppliers who become Vendors of Record, like Christie Innomed, benefit from demonstrating the quality of operations and capabilities, as well as a more efficient quoting process and timely authorization of services.
“Christie Innomed is a trusted, reliable and flexible Supplier partner in our VOR program,” says CMEPP CEO Nils Clausen. “Over the years, they have demonstrated their commitment to serving CMEPP Participants with excellence, adapting to their needs and challenges. We look forward to continuing to work with this organization to deliver value to our stakeholders.”
With a proven track record in managing large Multivendor Service (MVS) contracts, Christie Innomed is a premier independent service provider specializing in large contracts and currently oversees equipment from most major manufacturers.
Our approach is characterized by a high degree of flexibility and the ability to tailor contracts to meet the unique needs of each account. Furthermore, Christie Innomed is equipped to offer diagnostic services across a range of modalities, including MRI, CT, IR, and PET/CT. This service is available irrespective of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), provided the modality is compatible with this functionality. Our commitment to service excellence makes us a reliable partner in healthcare technology management.
