Radiant ORS
ORS is a web-based application that is fully integrated with Radiant RIS. This is a cost-effective alternative for physicians who do not have access to EMR but want to get their reports electronically. At their fingertips, referring physicians can log in from anywhere using a web browser to listen to digital dictation and view their patients’ reports the moment they are typed or verified. Physicians have the option to view final as well as preliminary reports depending upon their workflow.  This results in lower operational cost for a clinic through cost reduction in printing, mailing or faxing reports. No software installation is required and a browser is used to access reports.

Radiant HCV (Health Card Validation)
Ontario Physicians lose a portion of their income to invalid health cards. Cost for a busy clinic in lost productivity due to the administration of reclaiming rejected monies is easily equivalent to 10 extra hours per week. Radiant Health Card Validation is a safe and instant way of validating patient health cards over the internet in real time. This results in saving thousands of dollars in administration cost of manually validating health cards or adjusting and resubmitting rejected claims for patients with invalid health cards.

The application can be used independently of Radiant by different group of practitioners ranging from physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and optometrists to EMR vendors. Our servers are directly linked to the Ministry of Health database to achieve optimal performance in a service that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. While HCV can function as a separate program, it is also tightly integrated with Radiant and its Appointment Scheduler.

Radiant Batch Faxing
This is our unique software-hardware solution offered to our clients to speed fax delivery to its optimum level.  For a low annual cost, speedy fax delivery allows time savings by avoiding telephone enquiries. Alternatively, in non-urgent cases, faxes can be batched to be transmitted overnight when the clinicians’ fax machines are not busy. Batches can be sorted according to a number of additional criteria.

Referring physicians who wish to receive reports in faxed form (in addition to or instead of the printed form) are flagged in Radiant’s database. The transcriptionist does not need to remember the report distribution options thereby allowing him/her to concentrate on the work at-hand.

Radiant Appointment Scheduler
Radiant’s Appointment Scheduler comes with unique functions and screens that allow a variety of scheduling options. Appointments can be made on the fly, by selecting directly from the grid or, multiple (or single) services can be searched for, so that the nearest appointments and most convenient appointments appear on a list from which a selection is made with the click of the mouse. This program exemplifies our philosophy of a simple interface hiding the complexity of execution.

The scheduler can be used in a single clinic or an organization of multiple clinics. Appointments can be made well in advance, or on the same day. Daily, weekly and monthly editable views are available at a glance. Appointments can be searched based on date range, day and time preferences, procedures, and resources. Resource templates and modality time slots can be set up with limitless flexibility. For each and every transaction, time, operator, and other details are recorded and available for subsequent audit.

Appointment confirmation and instructions specific to the type of examination being booked are e-mailed to the patient at the conclusion of scheduling.

Our Appointment Scheduler is tightly integrated with Radiant RIS thereby eliminating duplicate entry efforts by sending all patient communication to our RIS. Patients are checked in by a simple click when they arrive for their appointment, increasing the speed of processing patients at busy sites. The validity of the health cards is verified at the time the appointment is made or, if Health Card unavailable, when patient checks in.

A list of appointments with phone numbers and other details allows the staff to pull tomorrow’s cases, remind patients of appointments, and much more! Flexible time slots allow reduced waiting times, enhancing productivity!
